SUMMARY:POSTPONED Neofonía - Klagenfurt
DESCRIPTION:[:es]Postponed to March 2021[:en]Postponed to March 2021[:de] \n\n\n\nPostponed to March 2021\nEnsemble Neofonia: „Fragmente einer Erinnerung“\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAuf dem Programm stehen 5 völlig unterschiedliche Stücke\, vier von weniger bekannten jüngeren Komponist*innen und eines\, das Uroš Rojko für Neofonía geschrieben hat. \n\n\n\n\n\n[:]

SUMMARY:[:es]Text im Klang - Schallfeld Ensemble[:en]Text im Klang #4. Premieres of impuls composition commissions\, reading-performance & brunch[:de]Text im Klang #4. Premieren von impuls Kompositionsaufträgen\, Leseperformance und Brunch[:]
DESCRIPTION:[:es]Obras de Anna Feliz Machais\, Joan Gómez Alemany\, Pedro Berardinelli y Yulan Yu[:en]Premieres of impuls commissions by \nFeliz Anne Reyes Macahis New work\, for flute\, clarinet\, violin\, cello (2019\, premiere) \nYulan Yu New work\, for flute\, clarinet and 2 musicians/tape-recorders (2019\, premiere) \nJoan Gómez Alemany  eros – tans – tngi – ugog – celö – esel\, for flute\, clarinet\, piano\, violin\, cello (2019\, premiere) \nPedro Berardinelli New work\, for flute\, clarinet\, cello (2019\, premiere) \n  \nText & reading-performance: Thomas Antonic \n  \nEnsemble Schallfeld \nAlessandro Baticci flutes \nSzilárd Benes clarinet \nPatrick Skrilecz piano \nLorenzo Derinni violin \nMyriam García Fidalgo cello \n  \n„Text im Klang” is a laboratory\, where medial interlacings with a focal point on impulse are put into practice. Like in former years impuls again commissions new works from young composers\, who this time take their initial impulses from the writings and specially from a personal exchange with the author Thomas Antonic. For the first time he in turn is commissioned to write and present new texts as reading-performance\, partly interwoven in the music\, for the premieres. During a first preparation phace the topic of „disappearance“ has emerged as common thread\,  leading to different positions\, interpretations\, formal and cenceptional developements. Hereby the intention of the project does not pursue a classical setting such as words to music or a simple translation of the words into music\, be it with singers or as purely tonal representations of the texts\, but is rather meant as cross-fertilization beyond genres and fruitful cooperation within the artists´ group. \nLike in former years Ensemble Schallfeld plays an important role as performer being both included in the process and the realisation of the compositions\, thus working in close cooperation with both the author and of course especially the composers. \n  \nIn cooperation with Kulturzentrum bei den Minoriten. \nEnsemble Schallfeld as Ensemble in Residency at impuls is performing with co-funding by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. \n  \n  \nEntry 18.9.: € 15.- / € 7.- \nEntry 19.9. \n  \n  \nEintritt 18.9.: € 15.- / € 7.- \nEintritt 19.9: Open Brunch: Eintritt frei \nKarten: Abendkassa\, Kartenreservierung: +43 (0)316 711133 31 \n\n[:]

SUMMARY:Schallfeld Ensemble - Oh I see
\nPROGRAMM \nCarola Bauckholt: Oh I see (2015/16) \nNick Morrish Rarity*: New piece UA (2019) \nGiuliano Bracci: Ritroverai le nubi UA (2019) \nHannes Kerschbaumer: Tektono (2019) \n*Resident Styrian Artist in Residence (St.A.i.R) Programm \nPreise: 10€/5€ Ermäßigt/Kulturpass frei \n

SUMMARY:Trilogy in two - Roma
DESCRIPTION:TRILOGY IN TWO\na mosaic opera  by Andrea Liberovici with   Helga Davis and  Schallfeld Ensemble. \nMusical direction : Sara Caneva \nMusic\, libretto\, video\, direction: Andrea Liberovici \na co-production by Teatro Nazionale di Genova and Fondazione I Teatri / Festival Aperto\, Reggio Emilia with Schallfeld Ensemble \n \nTrilogy in Two is a contemporary opera inspired by three emblematic figures and composed of two interlaced acts\, as the title is alluding to. Liberovici’s dramaturgical work has always been focused on the fragment\, but a fragment which is part of an overall design that\, as in a mosaic\, piece by piece\, finally reveals its shape. Trilogy in two is a reflection on the theme of beauty as an identity (if not lost\, largely in crisis) of Europe through three models of beauty. \n“The ephemeral beauty of illusions\, the profound beauty of solidarity\, the ancient beauty of listening. Personalized respectively in three European archetypes: Faust as a fictional character\, Florence Nightingale (founder of modern nursing) as an historic personality\, and Venice as a listening architecture: the selfishness of the former\, the attention to others of the latter (counterposed to the new racisms)\, the synthesis of the objective and indisputable beauty of the lagoon city\, which in its architecture made of water and mosaics preserves the aptitude for listening and meeting.” (Andrea Liberovici) \nThe stage is dominated by the extraordinary American performer Helga Davis\, the principal actor in the most recent edition of Einstein on the Beach by Robert Wilson and Philip Glass. With her on stage the Schallfeld Ensemble\, an international ensemble of contemporary music based in Graz\, Austria\, featuring musicians of various nationalities and the talented Sara Caneva as musical director. \nLiberovici in his musical and theatrical works has always favored the idea of a sound theater supported by an ‘acoustic’ set giving to viewers narrative stimuli\, that should be the freest and most personal. For this reason\, the sets of his works are apparently very sparse and minimal\, favoring the invisible and dramaturgical quality of music\, with sounds in movement and in relation to each other\, which are quickly provoking emotions. In this case the musicians will share with the performer the stage where there is only one large mirror/screen on which reflections are projected\, mixing unusual percussions and the wonderful voice-cameo by Robert Wilson\, just to mention some of the pieces of this mosaic-opera that overcomes the separation between genres\, and is at the same time concert\, theatre\, poetry\, and visual art.
